Cattle Industry Annual Convention & Trade Show
The Cattle Industry Annual Convention is the oldest and largest convention for the cattle business. The 2014 convention will be the 116th annual convention. The convention and trade show create a unique, fun environment for cattle industry members to come together to network, create policies for the industry and have some fun. If you’re in the cattle business, you need to be in Nashville, Tennessee, February 4-7. NALF will have a large booth at the tradeshow and there are advertising spots available in the NALF booth. If you are interested, contact Joe Epperly in the NALF office for more details.

For more information about the Zoetis Animal Health incentive program, contact Kaye Weaber in the NALF office.

Minerich Donates Corner Post Pick

Minerich Land & Cattle Co. of Richmond, Kentucky, is donating the centerpiece of the 8th Annual Corner Post Genetic Package which sells at the National Western Stock Show during the National Limousin Sale January 14 at 6 p.m.

This donation is a unique opportunity to purchase the pick of the 2013 natural-born heifer calves with the selection occurring in the spring of 2014. She comes with six months of free insurance donated by Grassroots Insurance and American Livestock Insurance. Agri-Exposure of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, has donated the first 500 miles of trucking.

All proceeds from the package will benefit the Corner Post Fund, which facilitates activities and scholarships for Limousin junior participants.
